Sacred Woman Collective, Louisville Metro, LLC was founded by Carey Hendricks, an attorney and executive leader whose life’s work has centered on protecting women and children, advancing justice, and creating pathways for women to thrive. Widely respected for her leadership in confronting gender-based violence and advancing justice for victims and survivors of unresolved sexually motivated crimes, Carey has served in senior executive roles across state and national systems, building a career at the intersection of public service, advocacy, and systemic reform. She has overseen multimillion-dollar forensic and justice initiatives, led trauma-informed programs, and shaped policy to strengthen the criminal justice system. 

Beyond her professional roles, Carey is a wife, mother, and eldest daughter who understands firsthand the challenges women face in balancing high-impact careers, caregiving, and self-care. This lived experience shapes her work at Sacred Woman Collective, where women find a practical support system to sustain their resilience and wellbeing in demanding seasons of life. Carey founded the Louisville Metro branch of Sacred Woman Collective as both a sanctuary and a catalyst: a space of care and restoration, free from competition, that also serves as a springboard for women to reconnect with and embody their sacred feminine power.

Her vision is rooted in a simple belief, that women are the wellspring of strength and transformation. When supported holistically in body, mind, and spirit, women not only heal and grow, but also collectively reshape the systems and communities around them. Her work is further inspired by the ancient traditions of feminine cultures across the world, where women gathered in circles, honored the cycles of nature, and served as keepers of wisdom and community wellbeing.
