Dr. Eva Altobelli, MD, is the founder of Home-LA, a holistic wellness center that integrates psychiatry, psychotherapy, and ketamine-assisted therapy. With a passion for creative paths to happiness, her early career explored mindfulness, yoga, neuroscience, and expanded states of consciousness. Her pursuit to understand the obstacles to contentment led her to medical school, completing a psychiatric residency and a fellowship in addiction at North Shore-LIJ in NYC. For over two decades, Dr. Altobelli has been dedicated to understanding and addressing the complex intersections of mental health and substance use disorders. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Altobelli has held medical director, leadership, and consultation roles across detoxification units, rehabilitation centers, recovery programs, and hospital-based treatment settings. Her professional path has also been shaped by a wide range of postgraduate trainings, including reiki, herbalism, Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychoanalysis, and psychedelic healing.

She has worked in both institutional and private practice settings, and continues to consult in the areas of psychedelics, addiction, and recovery. Dr. Altobelli views psychoeducation as a vital element of healing and empowers clients to take an active role in their therapeutic journey. She offers training programs and retreats for professionals interested in the evolving field of mental wellness. Dr. Altobelli holds certifications in psychedelic therapy and research from the California Institute of Integral Studies and MAPS.

With extensive experience in research and clinical care with psychedelic medicine and ketamine, she seeks to integrate creativity, holistic wisdom, and evidence-based practices. Above all, Dr. Altobelli is committed to supporting the safe and ethical evolution of the mental health field—and to honor each individual’s unique path to healing and happiness.
